Man found dead in girlfriend’s room

A mechanic has been found dead in his girlfriend’s room at Awoshie-Baah Yard in Accra.

The deceased, Emmanuel Debrah, is reported to have gone out the night before his death to buy food with his girlfriend and only to be found dead in the lady’s room the next morning.

An eye-witness and a sister to the deceased who confirmed the incident to Peace FM alleged that Debrah’s girlfriend is rumored to have another boyfriend apart from her brother, claiming that the other boyfriend came to the room to kill her brother, even though there was no cuts or bruises on the dead body.

“We were home around 12-midnight and his girlfriend came to call him complaining that she was hungry, so he went to buy the food with her. After they had bought the food, the other girl who is also part of the three girls convinced him to join them so they could eat at their place. The next morning, they told me that my brother could not wake up, he is dead.” The sister of the deceased, Agyeiwaa, told Peace FM.

According to the eye-witness, all three ladies denied having a close relationship with Debrah.

They have been currently assisting the Anyaa Police in investigation.

The body has since been deposited at the morgue for autopsy.
