Man details how a church used popular gospel singers to scam him

A man with an unknown identity has narrated how a church used popular gospel singer Chinenye Udoma and others to scam him in Abia state.

According to the man, a program dubbed ‘Come up Heater’ was organized by a church in Abia state, Aba to be precise in 2019. As desperate and passionate as he was about Christianity, he decided to attend the 3-day program.

He stated that popular gospel celebrities like Chinyere Udoma, Able Cee and Osinachi Nwachukwu among others were billed for the program.

To his surprise, these gospel artists were paid exorbitant amounts and their accommodation and feeding were also catered for aside from the money they were paid.

He said that because the church paid the singers huge sums of money, they had to take money from the congregants to make up for all the money they had spent.

In achieving this, the man stated that there was an altar call after every sermon or song ministration. He said the preacher would call for the attendees to sow seeds of N10,000 or more if they wanted to succeed in life.

He added that he sent home about N40,000 out of the N100,000 he took to the program.

Speaking further he opined that Christianity and the church are a system of deliberate normal processes to solve problems while knowing that those problems can only be solved by money.
