A former Ghana’s Consul to the United Arab Emirates (UAE) under former President John Dramani Mahama, Ambassador Daniel Osei has been admonished to return salaries and benefits acquired as an appointee at the time.

“Kindly retire all earned salaries and acquired benefits as a result of you being JM’s [John Manama] appointee into the state’s coffers” , Deputy Ashanti Regional Youth Organizer of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Onasis Kobby said

“The Auditor General shall be glad to retrieve them from misfit like you”, he added in a write up sighted by this reporter, Kwabena Danso-Dapaah.

Ambassador Osei in his latest interview on Accra-based Kasapa FM revealed that his greatest mistake in his political life is the fact that he took an appointment from the ex-President a comment that has not gone down well with supporters of the former president.

In a sharp response to what has been described as unprovoked attacks, Deputy Youth Organiser of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Onasis Kobby therefore described him as an “ungrateful and sinful being”.
