LIVESTREAMING: Robert Mugabe goes home

The funeral service for late Former President of Zimbabwe, Robert Mugabe, is currently underway at the National Stadium in Harare, Zimbabwe. Robert Mugabe died at age 95 in Singapore after batting with illness. He will be buried at Heroes Acre in Harare, Zimbabwe at an undisclosed date.

Several presidents across Africa have gathered at the National Stadium in Harare to pay their last respect. Millions of Zimbabweans are also awaiting the arrival of body of the late president. The day has been described as a great day by many Zimbabweans.

The funeral follows a row between the Mugabe family and the government over his burial.

Mugabe is the longest serving president who ruled for almost four decades. There are lot of activities currently ongoing at the funeral ground including the rich display of Zimbabwean culture.

Some dignitaries, including Equatorial Guinea President Theodore Obiang Nguema, Namibia president Hage Geingob, Malawi president Peter Mutharika have already arrived.
