LilWin arrested

Shortly after he was discharged from the hospital, Kumawood actor Kwadwo Nkansah, widely known as LilWin, was apprehended by the Motor Traffic and Transport Department (MTTD) of the Manhyia Divisional Police Command.

LilWin’s arrest is in connection with a recent incident where his vehicle was involved in an accident, resulting in the tragic death of a three-year-old boy.

Following the development, demands for justice, particularly LilWin’s arrest, escalated from the family of the deceased and some concerned individuals.

Numerous netizens, including notable figures like media personality Ola Michael and socialite Afia Schwarzenegger, had been advocating for LilWin’s arrest.

However, in some photos that have gone viral, LilWin was escorted from the hospital ward directly into a police truck stationed at the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital.

According to reports, the police cited delays in LilWin’s arrest due to his health condition.

Although further details have not been provided by the police, Citinewsroom reports that the actor has been taken to the Manhyia Divisional Police Command of the MTTD as investigations into the matter continue.

Background

LilWin, reportedly driving at high speed, collided with the vehicle carrying little Nana Yaw and his father, Jacob Kofi Ampomah.

Both Nana Yaw and his father were promptly taken to a nearby hospital and subsequently transferred to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital, where the young boy tragically died.

The accident transpired as the actor was en route to his movie premiere.
