LEAKED DOCUMENTS: Lambussie NPP Parliamentary Candidature for 2020 in Limbo

The Lambussie Constituency NPP members are currently discussing the plight
of their Parliamentary Candidate, Hon Bright Baligi, as so many petitions
ranging from double salary from UDS and Buffer Stock, fraud at Buffer
Stock,  as well as duping of a foreigner and a constituent all to the tune
of hundreds of thousands of cedis and US dollars have been leveled against
him. A final verdict has since been awaited from the party hierarchy.

All concerned members are however at tenterhooks as they fear the delay
will deny them a candidate for the 2020 parliamentary elections.

Fears are even more fuelled as he and the DCE were absent from the
inauguration of the 25-member Campaign Team on Wednesday, 2 September 2020.

Accordingly, several meetings to prevail on the PC to step down have been
met with fierce resistance as he insists on going down with other party
gurus. His latest target is the DCE who is said to be lobbying hard to
replace him without any contest.

Meanwhile, a 9-member Verification Committee chaired by no less a person
than Madam Oboshie Sai Coffie with other members including Madam Ursula
Owusu appears to have caught up with the PC as he is still at large
fighting tooth and nail to be maintained.

Observers, especially the NDC are watching with keen interest.

We will continue keep our cherish readers updated on the developments.
