Ras Kuuku begs Charterhouse to allow Shatta Wale back into Ghana Music Awards

Reggae/Dancehall artiste Ras Kuuku has called on the organisers of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs) to allow his colleague, Shatta Wale, to be part of the awards scheme again.

According to Ras Kuuku, even if Shatta Wale has offended the organisers, Charterhouse, they should find a way to forgive him and include him in the scheme meant for Ghanaian artistes.

He remarked on Cape Coast’s Property FM, “They have to allow Shatta Wale to join the TGMA because you know we are all in the industry, and everywhere he goes, he represents the country.

“It is Ghana Music Awards, and so if he has even offended them, they should ignore it and allow him to be part because we are all doing it to make Ghanaians happy.

“If he were to be around on the day of the event, it would have been great because all of us were there representing Ghana as artistes,” he told the host.

“The event belongs to artistes, so even if he has wronged them, they have to forgive him and give him a chance to be part of the award scheme again because he’s one of us.”
