Laryea Kingston resigns as Black Starlets coach after WAFU Zone B Championship elimination

Black Starlets coach, Laryea Kingston, has resigned from his role after his team lost their semi-final game to Burkina Faso.

The result means Ghana has failed to secure a spot in the upcoming U17 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) next year.

He announced his departure at the post-match press conference.

His side lost 2-1 to the Burkinabe team in a game played at the University of Ghana Stadium.
