KuYA supports Asokwa Concern Youth with books and money

On Sunday 12th May, 2019, Asokwa Concern Youth Association a vibrant youth group in the Asokwa Municipality organized their first meeting and invited their mother body Kumasi Youth Association(KuYA).

In attendance was Patron of KuYA and Concern Youth Of Asokwa Hon Nana Yaw Wiredu(Ahinsan Estate Assembly Man), Barima Tweneboa Kodua(AYA Gen Secretary and Chairman for KuYA), Chairman Nkrumah(NPP Constituency Chairman), Mr Papa Yaw Asare Bediako(NPP Asokwa Constituency Secretary), Mr Kwabena Frimpong (General Secretary of Kumasi Youth Association), other executives and members of KuYA. All Executives and Members of Asokwa Concern Youth Association were present.

 

 

Addressing the gathering, The Chairman for KuYA and General Secretary for Asante Youth Association(AYA) Barima Tweneboa Kodua advice the executives to be diligent in their operations.

 

Again, he tasked them to show transparency in the handling of their activities especially with their finances and activities.

 

 

Nana Yaw Wiredu, Assembly member for Ahensan -Estate and life patron of ACYA commended the group for putting together such a program.

 

He advised the group executives as well as members to be focused on the mandate they have put on themselves.

 

Nana Yaw also charged the group to treat people fairly as they work to push authorities to do what is expected of them.

 

He asked them to continue to identify other youth in the Asokwa municipality so they can help nurture them in the different talents they may possess.

 

‘’Don’t deviate from your mandate of holding leaders in this community accountable but do so with respect as you also work hard to ensure that your members get jobs to do so as to make them responsible’’, the Assemblyman and patron intimated.

 

KuYA General Secretary Mr Kwabena Frimpong donated 250books and Cash on behalf of the Patrons, Executives and entire members of Kumasi Youth Association to the Concern Youth In Asokwa.
