Kennedy Agyapong sued for defamation
The member of parliament for Assin central, Kennedy Agyepong has been sued by a mining company for defamation
Mr. Agyepong,according to the sue made some defamatory comments about C &G Aleska company limited, a mining company in the Western Region on an Accra based TV station, Net 2 owned by the law maker.
According to the statement presented to the court by C &G Aleska Company limited, Mr Agyepong had accused them of destroying and degrading farm lands.
The writ dated August 31st is requesting the lawmaker to respond to it by appearing before the high court within eight days.
