24-year-old lady allegedly commits suicide over broken heart

Reports from the Western Region indicate that a 24-year-old lady, identified as Abigail Nana Ama Fosuwaa, has committed suicide in her apartment.

The young lady reportedly took her own life in her apartment in Samreboi, on Wednesday, July 17, 2024, between the hours of 11:00am to 12:00pm, due to a broken heart.

Further details reveal that the deceased was discovered by her alleged boyfriend, identified as Hackman.

Giving an account of what transpired, the landlord of the late Abigail, Dominic Danquah narrated that he was awakened by a knock on his door from the alleged boyfriend.

He was informed by Hackman that his tenant, Abigail had been found dead in her apartment, having committed suicide.

Dominic Danquah confirmed the tragic incident upon entering the deceased’s apartment.

The police were subsequently called and informed of the incident.

Meanwhile, the alleged boyfriend of the deceased has been arrested by the Samreboi police to assist in investigations.

The body has been sent to the Samartex Hospital as investigations continue.
