JUST IN: Woman MURDERED at Ahenema Kokoben

A woman in her late 30s has been murdered by unknown assailants at Ahenema Kokoben in the Ahsnati Region, MyNewsGh.com has confirmed.

Reports gathered by MyNewsGh.com revealed that the incident occurred on the dawn of Tuesday May 14, 2019 close to Asafo Boakye Hospital, a private health facility in the area.

A resident on Kumasi-based Hello Fm revealed the deceased is not known  to them and could have been brought to the place by her assailants.

Her handbag and other personal effects were found beside her with traces of blood from her nostrils suggesting she may have been hit by a hard object while struggling with her attackers.

“There was blood stains on her face and I am sure she might have struggled with her killer before passing on” he added.

Police have since conveyed the body from the scene of crime while investigations have been launched into the unfortunate incident.

It would be recalled that in March this year, two middle-aged women were gang-raped to death and their bodies dumped in the suburb of the Kumasi Metropolis also in the Ashanti region.

The lifeless bodies of the deceased were discovered in the early hours of Thursday March 21, 2019 near a stream.

The deceased women according to the residents were unknown in the vicinity but it is suspected that they were killed elsewhere and dumbed in the vicinity by unknown assailants.

When MyNewsGh.com reporters got to the scene, residents who have obviously been awed by the incident surrounded the lifeless bodies of the deceased.

The ladies, one fair and the other dark in complexion had obviously struggled with their assailants who might have raped them as MyNewsGh.com reporters observed their skirts had been pulled down to their knees and their blouses to their necks, exposing their loins and cleavages in the process.

In the case of the fair lady, lying prostrate, her brassiere covered her breasts but her private part lay bare, spotting colourful beads around her waist but no traces of sexual contact would be immediately established, judging from the state and position of her lifeless body.
