Juju attacks made me quit acting six years ago – Frank Naro

Ghanaian actor turned musician, Frank Osei, popularly called Frank Naro, decided to quit acting about six years ago.

Even though at the time he was one of the finest to do it, the young talented actor emphasized he wanted to walk a different career path, which eventually became known to the world as a musician.

While it was not known why he decided to quit at the time, he has finally disclosed the reason when he sat down with Zionfelix on the Uncut show.

According to the “Abena” crooner, the reason he decided to quit acting was because he got a Juju scare.

Narrating what happened, Frank Naro mentioned that during the shooting of the movie, which eventually became his last film in the last six years, he mistakenly stepped on a juju which was allegedly meant for someone else.

He mentioned that he, the late Bishop Nyarko, and Maame Serwaa were all shooting the movie with Phamous Films at a forest in Dodowa, and after one of their shoots, his legs started to swell.

Against this backdrop, he had to leave the set and quickly go home to seek medical treatment.

Frank Naro added that at the hospital, the doctors asked that they amputate him to save his life; however, his mother and spiritual father declined and sought spiritual help.

The “KOOM” hitmaker added that it was the prayers that saved his life and, again, it was because he was not the target of the said juju. For this reason, he decided not to act again.
