Jordan to Lead Attack, New Centre Back Pair: Ghana’s likely starting XI against Angola in AFCON qualifiers

Black Stars head coach Otto Addo will name the best players available in the line-up for Ghana’s must-win 2025 AFCON qualifier against Angola in Luanda.

Ghana will be without 8 key players who pulled out of the squad for various reasons. Hence, the lineup for the game today, November 15, 2024 could have new faces, especially in defence.

Otto Addo could set his team up in a preferred 4-2-3-1 formation with Lawrence Ati-Zigi in goal behind a back four of Alidu Seidu as the right back, a new center back pair of Terry Yegbe and Nathaniel Adjei with Gideon Mensah as the left back.

Ibrahim Sulemana and Elisha Owusu could be the pivot, with Fatawu Issahaku and Ernest Nuamah on the flanks.

Mohammed Kudus could play behind Jordan Ayew who would be tasked to lead the attacking line.

The game is scheduled at 19:00 GMT kickoff time.
