Jollof rice is for children, eba is superior to amala – American rapper Wale; Nigerians react

American rapper Olubowale Victor Akintimehin, popularly known as Wale, has taken to his X page to share his thoughts on some Nigerian meals.

Wale, who is of Yoruba descent, claims the famous jollof rice is for children and that eba is superior to amala.

He argued that rice and stew is the best combination and that ayamase without egg is a crime. He added that yam and egg is the most underrated Nigerian delicacy.

Wale wrote; “Hot takes. (Please don’t jump me). Jollof rice is for children. Rice and stew is where it’s at. Eba is superior to amala. Idk when jollof spaghetti came out but it’s goin platinum ever since its arrival. Ayamase without eggs is a crime. Yam and egg are the most underrated Naija delicacies. I swear. (Small small sugar on the yam)”
