John Paintsil leads his club to qualify for the GA RFA Division Two Promotional tournament

Paintsil FC has clinched the Zone 5 Division Two League title with three matches to spare, a remarkable feat that reflects the team’s consistency and dominance throughout the season.

After 29 games played, the side has accumulated 69 points, boasting an impressive record of 20 wins, 7 draws, and only 2 defeats.

With qualification already secured, the results of the remaining three fixtures will have no bearing on their position at the top of the table.

The GA RFA Division Two Promotional Tournament is scheduled to run from June 7 to June 22, 2025, with the venue yet to be confirmed.

As Ghana’s second-most-capped player, John Paintsil brings a wealth of experience from his playing days in Europe, having featured for clubs such as West Ham United, Fulham, and Leicester City.

His coaching journey began at Kaizer Chiefs in South Africa, where he served as an assistant to Steve Komphela while still actively playing.

This achievement with Paintsil FC marks another significant milestone in his growing managerial career, and all eyes will be on his team as they aim to secure promotion in the upcoming tournament.
