Jacqueline Asamoah injured on movie set

Fast rising Ghanaian movie actress, Jacqueline Asamoah is on the road to recovery.

Jacqueline Asamoah sustained multiple injuries when she “collided with a camera crane while performing ‘a running scene” during filming in Kejetia, Kumasi.

She suffered head and shoulder injuries as a result of the collision.

Jacqueline has shared pictures of her recovery pictures with us from the gym.

Jacqueline who is currently doing well said the accident happened towards the end of the film shoot.

“I’ve never worked harder on anything in my life. It was a nonstop job and I felt so passionate and proud of what we were creating,” Jacqueline said. She added, “It was right at the end, so I managed to get through it.

She was immediately transferred to a local hospital for observation and treatment. The nature of how the accident happened has not yet been revealed.

Kumawood director Fiifi Gharbin slated the movie for a November 17, 2017 release, but that could obviously change now with production on hiatus. We’ll bring you more details on this as they develop.
