Many persons feared dead, injured as petrol tanker explodes in Ogun

Many people are feared dead after a petrol-laden tanker exploded in Olambe, Matogun area of Ogun State.

SaharaReporters gathered that the explosion occurred on Saturday morning.
Although details of the incident are still sketchy, an unconfirmed number of persons were affected by the inferno, including shops and buildings around the axis.

“A petrol tanker just exploded at Olambe in Akute, Ogun state and the fire is still on. Several properties have been destroyed already,” a resident told SaharaReporters.
