I’ve cancelled more than 23 shows because of Coronavirus – Fameye

Ghanaian musician, Fameye has revealed he has cancelled about 23 shows because of the coronavirus outbreak.

The ‘Notin I Get’ hitmaker told Zion Felix in an interview on Radio Univers’ ‘Brunch2Lunch’ show that the pandemic is having a negative effect on his business as an artiste.

According to him, some of the shows are pending and the 23 shows on hold do not include shows outside the shores of the country.

When asked if he would refund the monies to the organizers, Fameye stated that this is a natural cause so he won’t refund any money to the organizers.

He explained that such occurrences are always captured in the agreement that both parties have signed.

Ghana’s president, Nana Akufo Addo announced the ban on public gatherings after about six (6) cases of coronavirus were confirmed in the country on Sunday, March 15, 2020.
