In his Twitter post, he urged Nigeria to stop Tinubu’s inauguration else the nation will be a state whose government, judiciary, and military have been effectively infiltrated by drug cartels, or where the illegal drug trade is covertly run by elements of the government.

“If Tinubu is inaugurated, then Nigeria will become a narco-state. It’s not too late to stop this madness,” he said.

Guterman in earlier tweets called for Tinubu’s arrest, adding that he is a criminal following reports that the President-elect forfeited $460,000 to the United States related to money laundering and narcotics trafficking.

He noted that Nigeria is at risk if Tinubu is inaugurated on May 29.
