It is well even though he no longer walks – Ogidi Brown’s mother expresses gratitude for her son’s recovery

Known in entertainment circles as Artiste Maame, the musician’s mother said she feels gratitude to God despite her son’s inability to walk after the accident.

“They said he was not going to die, but at that time he was very young, so they said it would be well but it would take some time, and truly, it is well. The fact that he is not walking does not mean it is not well; it is very well. Because when we first returned to Ghana, we were eight in total due to concerns that something might happen to him. From then on, I came with him every time he was returning to Ghana, but today he is able to come to Ghana on his own. He has been to Ghana more than seven times. He even comes to spend about a year all by himself and then returns, so it is well,” she told Deloris Frimpong Manso, host of the “Delay Show.”

Speaking on the show, Artiste Maame shared details of the accident and her son’s path to recovery, which took a grueling toll on her but led to a stronger bond between her and her son.

According to her, Ogidi Brown spent about three months in a coma after the accident and had to be on hospital admission for about a year following the accident in Italy.

Inspired by her son, Artiste Maame recently started her own music career with Ogidi Brown acting as her manager and has since released two singles.
