Is there a future in NDC’s cup of rice and a gallon of oil? John Bart Addo quizzes

Think about tomorrow! Think  NPP!!Think Dr. BAWUMIA !!!

In Ghana, the destinies of many vibrant youths have often been tragically cut short due to detrimental government policies. In this fourth republic, the NDC government, led by John Dramani Mahama, made the controversial decision to cancel teachers’ and nurses’ allowances, which adversely affected the very individuals the government should have supported. It is intriguing that some young people still view this policy as favorable, but is there room for complaint? This approach seems to be a recurring strategy employed by the NDC – stifling dreams and providing handouts, keeping the youth impoverished and dependent to maintain political control.
Sadly, some NDC youth prioritize short-term benefits like a gallon of Frytol and a cup of rice over initiatives such as Free Senior High School (FSHS), a guarantor-free system for student loans, and the promotion of Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) and STEM education. But is this the future we desire? A future marred by hopelessness, poverty, and shame? Certainly not. We need a paradigm shift, a change that emanates from within. We must be willing to sacrifice instant gratification for a future that offers satisfaction, dignity, and hope to all.
If the youth start supporting policies with long-term benefits instead of backing candidates without clear-cut agendas, we can collectively make Ghana a better place. Let us rally behind “DMB” and strive to create a system where everyone feels a sense of belonging and experiences fulfillment. Vote for Dr. Bawumia and the NPP to pave the way for a brighter future for all.
