Ing. Oppong-Boateng Appointed As Acting CEO For GIDA

Ing. Richard Oppong-Boateng

The Board of Directors of the Ghana Irrigation Development Authority (GIDA) has appointed Ing. Richard Oppong-Boateng as acting Chief Executive Officer of the Authority.

Ing. Oppong-Boateng’s appointment as Acting CEO of GIDA was announced in a press release issued by the Ministry of Food and Agriculture.

Until his appointment, Ing. Oppong-Boateng held the position of a Director (Chief Manager) of the Irrigation Technology and Innovation Department of the Authority.

According to the release, his latest appointment takes effect from January 1, 2023.
