In SHS, I had about 59 exes – Tulenkey reveals

Ghanaian rapper Tulenkey has stated that his experiences in senior high school influenced his music and lifestyle.

Speaking in an interview on Adom TV, the Bad Feelings hitmaker explained that his music often carries a “boys boys” vibe because it is targeted at the youth, especially young men.

According to him, his life in senior high school played a big role in how he makes his music today.

“I can say it is my life from school that has influenced my music. It was in senior high school that I learnt that as a boy you have to be hard and have about 3 to 4 girls. In school I had about 59 exes,” he stated.

Tulenkey revealed that during his time in school, he and his friends were very popular on campus. Because of their popularity, they had a lot of attention from girls.

He shared that during vacation, he and his group of friends would set goals to see who could get the most girlfriends before school resumed.

“We were the famous ones on campus so we had a lot of girls to the extent that every vacation, we set a target for ourselves to get plenty girls, so the person who returns from vacation with lots of girls has won. It gave me knowledge of what girls like and things,” he shared.
