Imposter busted for ‘writing exams’ for Egyptian player at AFCON
A man alleged to have written an examination for an Egyptian footballer is currently in the hands of prosecutors.
The footballer in question, Mostafa Mohamed is currently with the national team in Cameroon for the African Cup of Nations, AFCON.
Local media say security services were alerted to a suspected case of fraud at a private educational institute in Giza, a BBC report stated.
The suspect is reported to have explained that he was helping the footballer who is a friend.
The player has yet to formally respond to the issue.
