I’m not NAM 1’s sister or fiancé – Owner of Golden Empire

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Golden Empire Legacy Limited, Joana Gyan has stated categorically that she is neither sister nor the girlfriend of embattled CEO of Menzgold, Nana Appiah Mensah alias NAM 1.

Many Ghanaians linked her module of business to that of NAM 1 when it was introduced prompting the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) issue a statement that revealed that her outfit had not been authorized by them.

“Some say I am his wife, others too are saying I’m his sister and business partner. All these are not true. I don’t know anybody like that”, the CEO of Golden Empire Legacy Limited, Joana Gyan told KSM in an interview monitored by MyNewsGh.com.

She revealed how she felt after hearing counter advertisement against her business on social media which sought to discredit her as gold buyer and seller.

“When I first heard that counter advert and the song accompanying it, I didn’t not understand. Later, reading many comments that follow, I was shocked and surprised to hear people including those around me and my staff”, she revealed.

According to the CEO who spoke on KSM’s ‘Bome Nkommo’, entertainment show monitored by MyNewsGh.com, the move by faceless individuals to portray Golden Empire Legacy Limited as a ponzi scheme may stem from recent incidents where similar gold buying enterprises run away with their customers’ money.

“Nothing just happen just for the happening sake. On the other side, I agree with them that people do not want to her buying and selling gold in the country because of what happened previously”, Madam Joan Gyan observed.
