I’m not bothered by your insults – 17-year-old Yaa Jackson tells critics

Kumawood young actress and songstress, Yaa Jackson and her dad, Jackson K Bentum who is also a movie producer and director in an interview has reacted to Delay’s interview which went viral last week.

Reacting to the interview with Deloris Frimpong Manso on Atinka FM, she revealed that the comments and insults she get are normal to her since she’s seen it over and over again citing that those social media critics are virtual and therefore she barely reads comments nowadays so she doesn’t pay attention to them.

In the famous interview, Yaa Jackson revealed that she dumped her boyfriend who was a Member of Parliament because he couldn’t open a shop for her.

The ‘Tear rubber’ hitmaker who turned 17 recently stated that she needs a rich man who can take care of her needs and provide everything she wants.

When asked if she considered herself to be a star in the movie industry in Kumasi, she responded positively and said in fact if they are rating top ten movie stars in Kumasi she comes in second.

In his father’s assertion, she knew Yaa since childhood as a multi-talented girl and therefore her choice of music and words are known by the family so they have no issue with her venturing into music.

She stated that Nana Ama Mcbrown is number one and her parents and other people in the movie industry understand that she is bigger than the likes of Emelia Brobbey, Mercy Asiedu, Maame Serwaa and co.
