‘I’ll forgive Burna Boy only if his mother begs me on national TV’ – Speed Darlington

Controversial American-Nigerian rapper Speed Darlington has revealed the only reason he can forgive Burna Boy.

In a video captured online, he said he could only forgive the Grammy singer if his mother publicly went on her knees and begged him for forgiveness on national TV just like his mom did. He added that the singer must also pay him N12 million as compensation.

“I will only forgive Burna Boy if his mom publicly goes on her knees and begs me for forgiveness on national TV just as my mom did to him. Additionally, he must pay me N12 million as compensation”.

In an Instagram live following his release, Speed had vowed to deal with Burna. He stated that the Grammy singer would beg for his account number by the time he was through with him.

In another video, he had called out the Nigerian police in Abuja for withholding his phone. He noted how if he called the officer’s name, he could be invited for questioning. Threatening to change it for them, he noted how his lawyer told him he never did anything wrong to Burna as there is nothing like cyberstalking.

Refreshing your memory, weeks back Burna Boy filed a petition against Speed Darlington for alleged cyberstalking. The rapper was taken to Abuja where he was detained by the IRT team. Darlington’s mother alleged that Burna Boy and his team were responsible for her son’s arrest, and begged the Grammy singer to release her son.

After spending 3 days in detention, Speed Darlington was released on bail after meeting conditions stipulated by the police at the Inspector General of Police Intelligence Response Team’s Department in the Guzape Area of Abuja.

Recall that Speed Darlington raised brows due to his inquisition about Burnaboy’s relationship with American rapper and businessman P.Diddy.

Speed Darlington noted how he had taken a photo with P.Diddy some years back, and after that other Nigerian artists started flying out to meet P.Diddy and take pictures with him. Speed said that shortly after Burna Boy took photos with P.Diddy, he won a Grammy award. Quizzing him, he urged Burna to explain how he became more famous after meeting with P.Diddy.
