I’ll fight for my position at Kotoko – Felix Annan

Goalkeeper and captain of Kumasi Asante Kotoko, Felix Annan, has said he will always fight for his position in the team.

Annan, who has been in sterling form in the last three years in the Ghanaian league, has been on the bench of Kotoko this season with Kwame Baah taking his place.

The talented shot-stopper has only had five games to play this season and the fans have attributed his lack of playing time to a dip in form while others put it down to his decision to get married in the middle of the season, which they presume did not go down well with his coach Maxwell Konadu.

Speaking on New Day TV, the Kotoko goalie said he has no regrets over that decision as his wedding was planned way ahead of the start of the 2019/20 season.

“I won’t regret today or tomorrow for my wedding. I arranged for my wedding before even the start of the league. I have a good relationship with Maxwell Konadu and Kwame Baah.”

Felix Annan, who earned a place in the Black Stars’ 2019 AFCON team, will look to fight his way back with the national team with playing time at Kotoko being the only guarantee.
