Ignore the ‘cantata re-collation’ – Sammy Gyamfi

National Communications Officer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Sammy Gyamfi has urged the NDC party members to remain calm and ignore the ongoing re-collation process being conducted by the Electoral Commission (EC).

This comes on the back of the Accra High Court ruling that the EC must finalize the election results of some constituencies.

The commission has declared results in seven constituencies, with all seven constituencies going in favour of the New Patriotic Party (NPP).

These constituencies include Ahafo Ano North, Techiman South, Ahafo Ano South West, Nsawam Adoagyiri, Obuasi East, Okaikwei Central, and Tema Central.

In a Facebook post, Sammy Gyamfi assured party supporters that the NDC’s happiness will ultimately prevail on January 7, 2025.

“Comrades, he who laughs last laughs best. “We will have the last laugh after December 7,” he added.

He further urged supporters to disregard the re-collation process, which he described as a “cantata exercise dubbed ‘re-collation’ being carried out by the NPP-sponsored EC.”
