‘If you no make am, no evidence say you try your best’ – Burna Boy shades Davido

The self-acclaimed African Giant stated in a video that was widely circulated online that effort should be accompanied with results to demonstrate that one is making an effort.

According to Burna Boy, people would start to lose faith in someone who toils day and night without producing anything tangible.

He went on to remark that he and his team are working so hard to thrive in the music industry because they want to continually demonstrate the effects of their contributions.

He said: “For this life, if you no make am, no evidence say you try your best. You go dey explain tire, you go explain, explain, explain, because no evidence say you try your best if you no make am for this life.

“No be the one wey we go kpai now, they’ll say oh! he tried his best, how do you know?”

This advice from Burna Boy comes few weeks after his colleague Davido named his top five Nigerian young artiste to dominate the music industry few years to come.

Naming his best five, Davido referred to Grammy Award-winning artiste, Burna Boy as a ‘new cat’ alongside Fire boy, Asake, Rema.
