Ibrahim Mahama Donates GH¢50,000 to Suzzy Pinamang After Successful Eye Surgery in the UK

Prominent Ghanaian businessman Ibrahim Mahama has donated GH¢50,000 to Suzzy Pinamang, a Senior High School student, to support her living expenses ahead of her next medical review in September 2025.

Suzzy, a Form Two student at Adventist Senior High School, returned to Ghana on Thursday, July 3, 2025, following a successful eye surgery at the renowned Moorfields Eye Hospital in London. Her arrival in the Ashanti Region was met with overwhelming joy and celebration from her family and community.

Earlier this year, Suzzy suffered a severe eye injury after being accidentally shot in the eye by classmates while in class. The incident left her in urgent need of specialized treatment abroad. Mr. Mahama fully covered all costs related to her surgery and international travel.

Thanks to the world-class care she received in the UK, Suzzy’s sight has been fully restored.

In a heartfelt show of gratitude, Suzzy’s family and community offered prayers for God’s blessings and protection over Mr. Mahama, his family, and his workforce, recognizing his life-changing intervention during their time of crisis.

This latest financial gesture is part of Mr. Mahama’s continued support for Suzzy as she recovers and reintegrates into daily life.
