‘I outgrew them’ – Bisa Kdei on why he severed ties with former management

Highlife musician Bisa Kdei has stated why he parted ways with his previous management team.

In an interview with Andy Dosty on Accra-based Hitz FM, the award-winning musician explained that the decision was driven by his brand’s significant growth, which has outgrown his former management team’s capabilities.

Bisa Kdei remarked, “When you see that you’re growing and moving at a faster pace, while some people around you are lagging, you have to make a change. It’s a natural part of progress. Even you, Andy, have had to move on from people in your career because they couldn’t keep up with your growth.”

He added, “I had to stop working with some of my boys, although some have returned and left again. It’s all part of the process. The priority should always be your career.”

He said even though their professional relationship ended, he still maintains a very cordial relationship with his former management team.
