‘I know my ex-wife’s new husband; we even shook hands’ – Kwaku Manu dispels claims of heartbreak

After being consistently asked to comment on his ex-wife’s new marriage, actor Kwaku Manu has shared his sentiments on the matter.

The actor, among other things, has dispelled claims that he is currently experiencing a broken heart.

“Recently, people have been asking me to react to issues about my ex-wife’s re-marriage. Others are also itching to know what broke our marriage. I want you to know that with issues like these, if you’re not sensible and strong, you can die or end up in destruction.

“I am very okay, I appreciate those calling me but I am very okay. We all have the right to re-marry. I am more than okay,” he emphasised.

To buttress the level of healthy relationship that currently exists between him and his wife, Kwaku Manu added.

“Would you believe if I told you I know the man and I’ve met him? We even exchanged pleasantries. We shook hands!”

Touching on the challenges of going through a divorce, the actor stated that not everyone is as strong as he is in dealing with it.

He added that people shouldn’t fault any divorcee who vents on social media.

“Don’t blame anyone who vents on social media after they have encountered divorce,” he retorted.

Background:

After divorcing Kwaku Manu over three years ago, Naa Okailey Nyarko recently remarried, this time to a White man.

Naa Okailey and Kwaku Manu’s divorce was publicly confirmed by the latter in a 2022 interview with Kobby Kyei.

While the actor did not disclose the reasons behind their separation, he noted that despite their efforts to maintain the marriage, they ultimately decided to part ways.

Manu also highlighted that there is no universal solution for a successful marriage, as each relationship is unique.
