I feel the excruciating pain you are enduring through the many surgeries – Vim Lady prays for Kofi Adomah

Following reports that broadcaster Kofi Adomah Nwanwanii is currently undergoing surgeries to restore his eyesight, Vim Lady has reached out with words of comfort and support.

Kofi Adomah, who sustained severe eye injuries from gunpowder residue after a recent shooting incident, was flown to Dubai for treatment.

As netizens await good news, Afia Pokuaa (Vim Lady), a close friend of Kofi Adomah who has been consistently updating the public on his condition, has once again taken to social media to post about the situation.

This time, she shared a heartfelt message to console her dear friend, acknowledging the extremely tough moments he is enduring.

Having experienced two eye surgeries herself, Vim Lady said she can relate to the excruciating pain Kofi is currently facing.

She wrote, “As a sister who has known you for almost 20 years, I pray for you. As a person who has had two eye surgeries on both of my eyes, I feel the excruciating pain you are enduring through the many surgeries.”

Vim Lady also revealed that she checks on him daily through his wife, saying, “This is why I wake up at dawn every day to call your wife and check on you. God heal you and restore your sight. In Jesus’ name.”

Meanwhile, reports indicate that although several surgeries have been performed to restore Kofi’s eyesight, there has been little progress so far.

How news of Kofi Adomah’s ordeal broke and its aftermath

Afia Pokuaa first reported the incident on Wednesday, January 15, 2025.

Kofi’s wife, Miracle Adomah, later reassured the public that her husband was stable and receiving treatment in Dubai.

How Kofi Adomah was shot in the eye, captured on tape

A video posted on Kofi TV on January 22, 2025, showed Kofi Adomah just before the incident that has led to his current situation.

He was filming the arrival of the Dormaahene, Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Agyeman Badu II, when one of the Dormaahene’s bodyguards fired a rifle at close range while Kofi stood behind him.

Kofi immediately screamed in pain and clutched his face after being struck by the gunfire.

The air was filled with smoke and gunpowder residue as he tried to shield himself from further harm, repeatedly crying out, “Jesus, Jesus!”
