How the police caught a wanted traffic robber

A well-known traffic thief has been caught by the Rapid Response Squad of the Lagos state police command.

In a statement, the RRS said that the suspect was caught while attacking the driver and motor boy of a broken-down PMS tanker after Ojota bridge, Ketu inward Berger, on Wednesday night, December 7.

The RRS says that two other people who were with the suspect who was caught are still out there.

“Yesterday at 11:45 p.m., RRS patrol team caught 30-year-old Wasiu Ajepe with a machete and two other armed people who are still at large. They were robbing the driver and motor boy of a broken-down PMS-filled tanker after Ojota Bridge, Ketu inward Berger.

Ajepe, who lives at 21 Taiwo Street off China Town in Ogudu, has said that he is the leader of a group that works at night and early morning around China Town, MKO Garden, Ojota Bridge, and Motorways.

There are efforts to catch his two other gang members.
