How social media users reacted to video of Bawumia dancing to Guru’s ‘Lapaz Toyota’ song

Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia and his wife, Samira Bawumia, were trending after they were spotted spontaneously dancing to a song by Ghanaian artist Guru.

This happened during a rally as part of the Bawumia Youth Connect campaign in Kumasi, energized by a live performance from Guru, known for his track “Lapaz Toyota.”

As Guru entertained the party supporters with his song, the Vice President began dancing when the lyrics “Odo me de car no be ma wo” echoed through the venue, a line that humorously aligns with Dr. Bawumia’s political image as the ‘mate’ aiming to become Ghana’s ‘leading driver.’

The video has sparked interesting comments from netizens on social media, with some believing the vice president is not taking his presidential ambition seriously.

Others expressed that Dr. Bawumia will not receive their vote despite his efforts to connect with the citizens.
