How request for DNA test ‘forced’ woman to confess about cheating two weeks to her wedding on live radio

A husband’s quest to validate the paternity of his son, named Gigi, led to a bittersweet discovery that has shaken the very foundation of his marriage.

In a bid to confirm the paternity of his son, the man, whose name was given as Brandon, signed up for a 3FM program that allows husbands and wives to undertake DNA tests to ascertain the paternity or maternity of their children, with the results being declared publicly.

As has become customary on the show, host AJ Sarpong called Cindy, the wife of Brandon, to relay the news of her husband’s decision to validate the paternity of their son and also disclose to him the result of the DNA test.

Cindy was initially incensed by her husband’s decision and questioned why he would have doubts about the paternity of their son.

In the course of her rants, Cindy released unexpected information that changed the flow of the conversation and definitely shook the foundation of her marriage.

Cindy confessed to having doubts about the paternity of her son as she was involved sexually with another man two weeks before her marriage to Brandon.

“I do have doubts (about the paternity of her son). I kinda hooked up with somebody two weeks before we got married. I found out I was pregnant a month later,” she said.

Following her confession, AJ Sarpong announced the result of the DNA test, and luckily for her, Brandon was the father of their son, Gigi. Cindy could only let out a big “Jesus Christ” shout.

Brandon, who had been listening to the conversation, was clearly furious by the development and wondered why his wife would not only cheat on him but also keep it a secret from him.

“I have been quiet for a while because I’m finding it hard to believe that I sleep on the same bed with somebody … I am now finding out she did something with somebody before our marriage and she couldn’t even tell me. If I had not taken up this test, you would have been living with the doubt until when?” he quizzed.

The couple were transferred to the in-house counsel of 3FM to deal with the new development that has rocked their marriage.
