Three Senior High Students have been killed by a vehicle at Adidome in the Central Tongu Constituency of the Volta Region.
Eyewitnesses say the students were returning from school when they met their untimely death yesterday.
The victims, Hlortu Prosper age 21, Amevor Prospera age 22 and Apotsi Enock aged 26 were students of Volo Senior High School.
The Assemblyman for the area, Azietor Tse told our reporter that the three students live in the same house.
He noted that the three were on top of a motorbike going home after school.
The Assemblyman indicated that a car was carrying passengers from Dzemeni to Sogakofe in the Volta Region.
He added that upon reaching Adidome, the driver in an attempt to dodge some cattle on the road ended up hitting the three students who were riding a motorbike crushing them to death.
The Assemblyman said the three were rushed to the VRA hospital in Akosombo but were pronounced dead on arrival.
He stressed that the bodies have been deposited at the VRA morgue awaiting autopsy.
The police have commenced investigations into the matter.
