The chapter commended the achievements of the party’s parliamentarians, who have not only retained their seats but also flipped key constituencies, securing a commanding majority in Parliament.
In a statement issued by its Communications Directorate, NDC Sweden described the electoral outcome as a testament to the unity and resilience of the party’s grassroots supporters, both domestically and within the diaspora.
“This triumph marks the beginning of a new era for Ghana,” the statement read. “We are confident that this mandate will strengthen democracy, restore hope, and position the nation for greatness,” part of the statement said.
“24-Hour Economy Initiative,” designed to enhance Ghana’s production capacity. This forward-thinking approach is expected to create more jobs, improve living standards, and drive national development.
“These policies symbolize the pragmatic and innovative mindset needed to propel Ghana’s progress,” the chapter noted.
The NDC Sweden urged the incoming NDC government to prioritize delivering on its promises of economic reform, youth empowerment, job creation, and anti-corruption measures.
It also called for unity among political stakeholders to foster national reconciliation and development.
