How Kelvynboy congratulated Stonebwoy for his TGMA win two weeks after event

Almost two weeks after Reggae/Dancehall sensation Stonebwoy bagged the prestigious Artiste of the Year award at the 2024 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMAs), Kelvynboy, once mentored by the former, has congratulated him.

Despite their publicised split and subsequent animosity after Kelvynboy left the Burniton Music Group, Kelvynboy put differences aside to toast Stonebwoy’s success.

He took to X on June 14, 2024, to write “Congrats to 1GAD for winning AOTY,” complete with clinking glasses emojis.

Although the delay in Kelvynboy’s congratulatory message is not known, netizens have interpreted this act as an attempt to soften their previously tense relationship.

Additionally, Blakk Cedi, Stonebwoy’s ex-manager who is currently in Kelvynboy’s camp, also extended his well-wishes to Stonebwoy right after the awards event, lauding him for his outstanding achievements at the TGMA.

Stonebwoy has yet to publicly acknowledge the congratulatory messages from both Kelvynboy and Blakk Cedi. The star has however explained that he is yet to respond to many congratulatory messages due to the number of wishes he received and not due to any malice.
