Nigerian lady becomes internet sensation after old tweet on Premier League title race resurfaces

A Nigerian lady has become an internet sensation after her old tweet about the Premier League title race surfaced online.

The lady, identified as Ifeoluwani and known on X (formerly Twitter) by her handle @iam_philopearl, is a staunch Arsenal fan. She narrated how she foresaw the final day of the Premier League in a dream she had last December.

According to Ifeoluwani, Mikel Arteta’s side would be two points behind Manchester City going into the last game of the season. In her dream, Pep Guardiola’s side lost their final match, while Arsenal secured victory with a last-minute header from Gabriel, clinching the league title. She tweeted:

“I said it earlier on an Arsenal group at the start of the season, that I dreamt Arsenal were 2 points behind City before the final game of the season. Then City lost their match while we had a last-minute header from Gabriel to win us our last game and the league title. Call me crazy o.”

Interestingly, this scenario is unfolding as described, with Manchester City currently leading the Premier League with 88 points, just two ahead of Arsenal’s 86 points.

The suspense is building as fans eagerly await the final matches. Arsenal will face Everton at the Emirates Stadium, while Manchester City will host West Ham United at the Etihad Stadium on Sunday, May 19, as the 2023/2024 Premier League campaign reaches its conclusion.

It remains to be seen if Ifeoluwani’s dream will come true and Arsenal will snatch the title in dramatic fashion.
