Actor Mawuli Semevo passed away in the late hours of February 20, 2025, while receiving treatment after suffering burns from a fire accident a week ago.

Some netizens who enjoyed the late actor’s great talents took to social media to share their profound memories of him.

Personalities like Naa Ashorkor, Ayisha Modi, and George Quaye, among others, have also taken to social media to express their heartfelt condolences to the family of the late Mawuli Semevo.

Notable of the celebrities who reacted is Naa Ashorkor, who took to her Facebook page and wrote, ” Isn’t it scary knowing that any time could be the last time you talk to someone? Keep that in mind. Sabato! Uncle Mawuli! Our hearts are broken. Rest well, kind sir,” she said.

The late Mawuli Semevo played roles in productions such as “Yolo”, “The Good Old Days”, and “Like Cotton Twines”, among many others.
