HOT VIDEO: Your father was a ‘corrupt thief’; you followed his footsteps – Wontumi punches Mahama

Ashanti Regional Chairman of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Bernard Antwi Boasiako has hit hard at former President John Dramani Mahama, accusing him of replicating vices his father demonstrated in his capacity as Agriculture Minister under the First President of Ghana, Dr. Kwame Nkrumah.

Mr. Boasiako, speaking on Kumasi-based Ashh FM alleged that Emmanuel Adama Mahama, then a state minister under Dr. Nkrumah mishandled state monies to the detriment of the taxpayers.

“His father was the then Agric Minister, a very corrupt man who mishandled state money” he stated.

“Ghanaians have seen Mahama and the NDC’s schemes, social media and mainstream media is out there, they have become discerning enough to know and ‘fish out’ all their lies”.

For someone who had tasted free Education under Dr. Kwame Nkrumah, he (Chairman Wontumi) said he expected that Mr. Mahama would have taken the initiative with his position as President to introduce initiatives and policies to assist the poor and the less privileged in the country.

On the contrary he insists, he did absolutely nothing but wait for a man whose parents catered for his school fees all on their own to think about the people and introduce initiatives like the Free SHS which many have benefitted from.

“If your father gave you (Mahama) free education under state funds, you even should have been the one to instigate Free Education to Ghana because of everything you had gone through. Akufo-Addo’s father took him to school paid fees all by himself, even then, he realized he had to introduce free Education for the less privileged”, he said on the show.

He further accused the National Democratic Congress (NDC) and Mahama of plotting various dubious schemes to destroy and defame the NPP despite their obvious efforts towards improving the lives of Ghanaians.

‘Selfish’ and ‘self-centered’ is how he described Former President John Dramani Mahama who he says is doing everything in his power to foil plans to develop education in the country.

“Mahama has been disgraced. John Mahama only has good plans and wisdom for his family and his own, he has no good plans for Ghana. He is self-centered and selfish. Without education, the development of the country is meaningless”.

“Mahama and NDC members are afraid that if the NPP wins power in 2020, more people will go to school and they will be enlightened enough to determine their evil schemes. Mahama’s motivation is to destroy all the good works of Akufo-Addo”. “What did he do during all 8 years? Free SHS? Planting for food? Import duties reduction, did he do any of these?”

“We the NPP members, we don’t want to burden Ghanaians with our problems so me for example, I’m working for myself”, he added.

He promised fierce competition in the next elections in 2020.

“God is watching all these. 2020 will be like Buhari and Atiku, we’ll break them”, he said.
