Hon Felicia Adjei, NDC parliamentary candidate donates machines to tailors, dressmakers and people with disabilities in Jema

The former MP and parliamentary candidate for NDC in Kintampo South constituency, Hon Felicia Adjei, yesterday donated machines to some identified groups and individuals in the Kintampo South constituency. The occasion, which was organised by the PC and the party, was to celebrate her 50th birthday.
The items donated at the program include:
1. 50 electrical Sowing Machines
2. 51 hair driers
3. 10 disabled wheelchairs for the disabled which include other special machines for the blind.
4. Ghc2000 for purchase of power for the Jema water system.
The day brought together a host of senior party, people from within the Bono East region, and others from Accra. Notably, Hon Comfort Doyo Gyansah, MP for Ada and Dep. Minority whip in parliament, Hon Dr Kwabena Donkor, MP for Pru East, Abigail Elorm Mensah, Dep. National Women Org., Hon Alex Kyeremeh, National Treasurer, Unas Owusu, Regional Chairman, as well as other regional executives. Also present were, Anyima Hene, Nana Brempong Amposem II, Anyima Hemaa, Nana Saah Gyamfua who is also a former member of the Council of State, Queen mother’s from within the constituency, Hon Kwasi Etu Bonde, former MP, former parliamentary aspirants and of course Kintampo South and North constituency executives. Executives from neighbouring constituency also came to grace the occasion.
As part of the celebration,  the PC shared over 2000 packs of food and drinks to children and mothers who joined her for the celebration.
Speaking at the event, Hon Alex Kyeremeh promised his full support for Hon. Felicia Adjei to take back her seat. He indicated his willingness to support both in kind and cash and to actively take part in the campaign to take back the Kintampo South seat. Hon. Unas Owusu, on his part, declared that the Kintampo South seat belonged to Her Excellency Lordina Mahama, the former first lady. Stating that, he will do everything within his his power to ensure that the Kintampo South seat goes back to the NDC. Other speakers, including the constituency chairman, Sakyi Robert, and some former aspirants, all took turns to promise their unflinching support for the course of taking back the seat.
Indeed, the program was one of the few most successful programs to have ever been organised in the region. Hon Felicia Adjei, in her speech, assured the party of her readiness to work hard to unite the party to ensure victory for NDC in 2024. She hinted also that, more of such programs which are aimed at empowering the vulnerable people in Kintampo South, to be able to fend for themselves will be organised from time to time.
The day came to an end with a party at Yakam Hotel, which saw a lot more people trooped in to have a chill from the kitchen of Hon Felicia Adjei.
