Here’s why Davido vows not to cheat again

Nigerian Afrobeats superstar Davido has declared that he will refrain from cheating in his marriage to avoid any issues.

The award-winning singer, born David Adeleke, opened up about his transformation during an interview on the US-based The Breakfast Club podcast.

Reflecting on his past relationships and family influences, Davido revealed how watching his uncles navigate polygamous marriages convinced him to choose a different path.

“My governor uncle has two wives. Another uncle lived with all his wives together. They even got along. But despite all the money, there was still constant wahala [trouble].

I’d rather follow what my other guys are doing. Maybe because I’ve had my own bad experiences. Sometimes, experience really is the best teacher.”

The Unavailable hitmaker declared that he would not cheat again, adding that he does not want any more marital troubles.

“I’m not cheating again. I don’t want wahala. I don’t want any wahala. I have five kids with four women,” he declared.

Davido is currently married to his long-time girlfriend, Chioma Rowland Adeleke.
