Health Minister ‘discharged’ from UGMC

Ghana’s Health Minister, Kwaku Agyeman Manu has finally been discharged from the University of Ghana Medical Centre (UGMC).

President Akufo-Addo during his last address to the nation confirmed that the Health Minister has tested positive for the novel coronavirus after several reports speculated that he (Mr Agyeman) has contracted the virus.

According to hospital officials, Mr Agyeman is in good condition now and responding to treatment but not in the UGMC currently.

The Health Minister was admitted on Tuesday, June 9 after contracting the virus in ‘line of duty’.
