‘He wanted the devil to use him’ – Asake’s ex-girlfriend reveals why she broke up with singer

Madame Mystique, a socialite and ex-girlfriend of Nigerian artist Asake has disclosed the reasons behind their breakup.

The socialite revealed that she split up with the “Lonely At The Top” singer because he wanted to let the “devil use him” while responding to an inquisitive fan on her Instagram page.

The fan wrote: “Why did you break our national sweetheart’s heart? Our Asake.”

Mystique replied: “Cuz he wanted to go let the devil use him.”

In response to a different admirer who chastised her for failing to shield Asake from the devil rather than leaving, Mystique emphasized that the singer is a devout man and that “the devil” was merely a liar.

She wrote: “Chill, he’s very much a man [of] God. The devil is just a trickster nonetheless.”

In 2023, asake and Madame Mystique’s lovey-dovey pictures and videos went viral online, sparking rumors of a romance.

However, there were rumors that their relationship had fallen apart in March 2024.
