Gyan’s wife’s 1st Marriage of Convenience certificate LEAKED

The certificate covering the marriage of convenience by the then teenage girlfriend of Liberty Professionals FC Asamoah Gyan has been leaked to social media, MyNewsGh.com has confirmed.

Earlier, it was reported that it became necessary for the then-teenage lovers to agree to have Gifty take a contract marriage which Asamoah Gyan consented to because Gifty needed a UK visa in 2002 for a medical treatment and at that time, Asamoah was said to be ‘broke’.

A marriage of convenience was hence fixed between Gifty and her relative who was then and still based in London to enable her to get a visa.

The Liberty Professional player that Asamoah Gyan was at the time made it impossible for him to afford to take Gifty, then his girlfriend, to the UK.

It is alleged that he agreed on the ‘marriage of convenience’ to take place.

He is currently seeking an annulment of his marriage with Gifty based on the marriage of convenience. He intends to marry one Nina Atalah who is an ex-wife of jailed Jamaican act Buju Banton and has allegedly dated Stephen Appiah, John Dumelo, Ibrahim Mahama, Captain Planet, Prince David Osei among a host of high profile personalities.

She was recently introduced as ‘wife’ of Asamoah Gyan at public appearances by the soccer superstar.

So far Asamoah Gyan’s lawyer Kissi Agyabeng has abandoned him, forcing him to hire the services of a relatively ‘unknown’ Tema-based lawyer who was once a journalist with Graphic Communications Group.
