Greater Accra FDGG President in US for LA film festival

The Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the Film Directors’ Guild of Ghana (FDGG), Mr. Haruna Seidu Soale Zoree has left Ghana for the LA FILM FESTIVAL in the United States of America.

Mr. Haruna Seidu Soale Zoree as part of his visit to the US, will also be taking a two weeks intensive training with Sony Pictures Entertainment Studios in Hollywood.

The trip, he said will afford him the opportunity to build his skills and knowledge in film/movie directing and bring that knowledge to bear on the growth of the industry in Ghana.

According to Mr. Zoree, the time has come for the Ghana Film Industry to grow better and it will take the expertise of the various sector players, including actors and actresses, directors, managers, and producers among others to make it work.

However, the president for FDGG believes his visit to the US will inure to the benefits of the Guild and the industry.
